Using hot condensate as boiler feed reduces the energy required to generate steam, which can reduce fuel consumption by up to 2\/3. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"is-style-arrow-list\">\n<li><strong>Reduced Water-Related Costs:<\/strong> If impurities are removed, condensate can be reused as boiler feedwater, reducing fresh water and treatment costs, as well as condensate cooling costs prior to disposal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"is-style-arrow-list\">\n<li><strong>Positive Impact on Safety and Environment:<\/strong> Recovering condensate decreases emissions of pollutants such as CO2, NOx and SOx, as less fuel is needed.
